Course Summary

Cellmark Forensic Services has considerable experience of undertaking cold case reviews and of helping to resolve some of the most challenging unsolved criminal cases. We draw on the multidisciplinary expertise of approximately 300 reporting and laboratory forensic scientists including a team of Senior Scientists with decades of forensic experience.

This presentation will take you through our forensic approach to cold case reviews, illustrated with case examples. At Cellmark we benefit from having an in-depth understanding of the methods and approaches used at the time of the original incident, as well as expertise with the latest forensic technologies. Working with investigators, we combine developments in the use of high-sensitivity analytical techniques with meticulous review and innovative thinking to identify and pursue potential forensic opportunities.
